Molas are the one creature that all divers hope to see while diving Lembongan during this time of the year! We often get asked, how to increase the chance of seeing these amazingly strange creatures? One bit of advice we give people is to take the PADIDeep Diver certification course. We are going to look at a few points about why doing the PADI Deep Diver certification course helps increase your chance to see a mola.
These points are:
Where molas spend most of there time
Dive sites where we often see the molas
Prerequisites for the PADI Deep certification
What you will learn in the PADI Deep certification
How we link the Deep course and the hunt for molas
Many people often ask why so many people do their PADI Divemaster course but do not work as a professional Divemaster. In all honesty people do the course for different reasons. Some people, do it as a way to work and travel, while doing a job that they’re crazy about. There is a surprisingly amount of countries in the world that offer diving, each great for their own special reasons. For many of u, our list of places to go for diving in the world only becomes bigger the more we speak to other divers.
Have you ever found yourself wondering if it is time for you to make the next step? Have you been an Open Water diver for a while and not sure if the PADI Advance course is worth it? Got time to spend and want to make the most out of learning to dive?

Not only did we have an amazing diving week in Lembongan to start September off with a bang, we also would like welcome to the Team – Ghifari, ready to explore Indonesian diving.
Ghifari (A.K.A Gif or Gify) joined our team on the 2nd of September. Originally from West Surabaya, Indonesia, Gif left his home village and moved to Jakarta in 2010 to study. While in Jakarta, Gif completed his university studies in finance and accounting before starting work with an electric company, in the finance department.
It wasn’t long at his new job, that Gify realized that the office life was not really for him. With this, he started to look elsewhere for another opportunity. It was at this time that a friend of his, (who also turned out to be a friend of instructor Bryce’s) pointed Gif in the direction of the Twin Island Dive ad on Facebook. With this, Gif had the chance to explore Indonesian diving.
PADI 5 star dive resort in Lembongan and another dive shop, making it twice as easy to find us now!
A few months ago we let you know that we had been officially recognized by PADI when we received our ‘dive centre’ status off PADI. Which allows us to teach PADI courses under the name of Twin Island Dive.
Over the last few months we have been working hard to take our centre to the next level in the PADI system.
Depending on safety, quality, experience, knowledge and facilities, a centre is able to be recognized for the high standards that they are offering to their divers. Much like a PADI diver works their way from open water to advance through experience, knowledge and skills, a dive centre can climb the PADI ladder as well. Read More
If you ask any diver, “What is your favourite fish”, you’re sure to get a speedy reply. From Angelfish to Zebrafish, we as humans seem attracted to our aquatic friends. Is it because of the dazzling colours or maybe they remind us of being on holiday in exotic locations? Whatever the reason, we seem to find them hypnotic.
A big day for Twin Island Dive today as we’ve been recognized! We are officially a PADI Dive Centre in Lembongan Amid the usual emails this morning we received notification that we have been recognized as an official PADI Dive Resort. What does this mean for Twin Island Dive and our divers? We are now able to teach a wide range of PADI dive course in Lembongan.
This is the story and journey into the world of diving in Indonesia and the birth of Twin Island Dive.
